Part Two Don MacMillan - The great swimmer, Congo Natalie Culver - It was a really bright sunny day (very hot) but its pretty shaded down near the creek. I think Harry was in the sunniest spots (least shaded spots). Either that or he's part angel. Maybe both . The next town north of Colchester is Hebron, the park is called Grayville Falls. Its a town park right next to a state park. The creek/falls are the town park part. Right alongside is the Airline Trail State Park, which is an old railroad right-of-way, that is now a walking / bicycling / horse trail, it continues for ~30 miles. We always park at the Grayville Falls town park parking lot, walk down hill over bridge on the creek (if hot Kunjo stops to wade) then up hill to the air-line-trail. We hike ~3/4 mile on the airline trail to another creek and turn back. Obike hates to get his paws wet, but Kunjo loves to wade when its hot. You can see Kunjo in a couple pictures looking impatiently at Harry! He wants Harry to either move faster with him through the water or give him more lead so he can wade out further. We have to wear water sandals or take a long lead because Kunjo likes to walk in the middle of the creek, which he can't do on a short leash unless we wade into the middle with him. Also it's slippery on the wet rocks, so we have to be careful or we'll slip and fall while Kunjo is trying to pull us further into the stream. As if we didn't know already Kunjo likes to show us again that he has a unique personality for a basenji!
