FIRST TIME OUT FOR EVERYONE, IN COVID PANDEMIC!

COURSES

The hounds run each course in a Prelim, and then in Finals.
After that they may run for Best of Breed, or tie-breaker run-offs.
In order to qualify to run in the trial, a hound must run "clean" with another hound. (QC)
A Junior Courser title requires 2 runs alone. (JC)
A Senior Courser title requires 4 trials qualifying, with competition. (SC)
A Master Courser title is the same, but with 25 trials. (MC)

Don & Vilma O'Neill judged the trial. I was wearing a pendant with a charm of a rabbit,
or hare, set in a gold bezel, that Vilma had admired for many years.
She looked stressed, so I unclasped my necklace, and handed her the pendant.
Told her I wasn't trying to influence the judge.
