Message from her daughter, Novice:

After Thanksgiving my mom became ill. She figured that she had a typical winter virus. At the beginning of her last run before Thanksgiving, the heat in her RV stopped working. She had been riding around with cold feet for about a week. She figured this was why she was sick. She was not 100% when she left my house, but she thought she would be fine. After her accident she was taken to a hotel, and I believe she died shortly after checking in. This is why she did not call anyone.

The autopsy showed that she had a severe case of pneumonia, which is the cause of death. What she thought was a simple virus she could power through, was instead pneumonia, which was getting worst not better, and ultimately killed her.

I am told that pneumonia does not have a set of defining symptoms.
Different people have different symptoms and it is often mistaken for something else until you go to the hospital.

The police report said that she was check by an EMT. It does not say what they checked. Since she was in an accident, I would believe that their main concern would be injury caused by the accident.
She did have a dog with her, and I'm sure she would've chosen to go to the hotel to rest, so that the dog could stay with her.

Crash

October 30 I have a huge hole in my heart. My dear Crash decided to leave us yesterday.

He was almost 17 years and doing so well. certain circumstances took me by surprise and we had to make the heart-wrenching decision to put him to a more happy place. R.I.P. my dear sweet Crash. You can meet up with Tabasco and your best buddy, Donna Troyna's Nikita and Matuko. ~ Barb Sauceda

Amisi

"An epic love story -- Lukuru Amisi (born deep in the heart of the Congo ~ May 2007 ~ 5 December 2014) -- My love story.

From the very first time I laid eyes on him, the universe lit up.

But that light has gone out and I am left in abject darkness.

On the evening of Tuesday 2 December 2014, my precious boy suffered an extreme, acute attack of Pancreatitis due, according to the attending team of physicians, to complications of the long-term medication Azathioprine used to treat Panuveitis
[an immune-mediated illness resulting from over-vaccination; essentially Misi's reaction to the vaccines
caused his immune system to kick into overdrive and attack itself].

The Pancreatitis, when the pancreas is digesting itself, was a violent and sudden assault. Amisi did not survive.

I want to say a very special and heartfelt "THANK YOU ALL" to the talented and dedicated medical teams at both Kantzer Veterinary Clinic and Columbus MedVet Medical & Cancer Center for Pets. With the utmost compassionate care, they fought a valiant battle, using every available tool and more, trying to save my boy. They loved him, too." ~ Jo Thompson
