In Memoriam

St. Jim, by Zulu.

Valentine

June 30th, Fred Larcombe's Valentine passed away in her sleep, at 16 1/2 years old.

All of us remember Valentine on the coursing field, running like Tinker Bell -
She flew 'or the ground, like an angel.

Hadisha

R.I.P HADISHA TI-n abou puzzle ~ 05.01.2003-11.05.2018

Hadisha TI-n abou passed way at 15 years and 4 months old.
She had a great life, much loved and cared for by Anett! Thank you from heart for that!

Violet

“To call her a dog hardly seems to do her justice, though inasmuch as she had four legs, a tail, and barked, I admit she was, to all outward appearances. But to those who knew her well, she was a perfect lady.” – Hermione Gingold

Violet’s circle of life is now complete. She joined her siblings Bek, Sirus, Logan, Nefer and Ra-Xy earlier today at home surrounded with all her familiar sights and sounds as well as her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A life well lived and traveled for the last 14.5+ years, she was a constant at my side especially at Coursing Events around the country where she made a name for herself.
She was well loved and her abilities respected by all who knew her.
She was Hallam’s first NFC (National Field Champion in Lure Coursing)
…a prefix title only awarded once per year by the American Kennel Club to one Sighthound,
and the first and only Pharaoh Hound Bitch in History to achieve an LCX6 (Lure Coursing Excellent Level 6).

Our hearts are heavy and no…nothing will ever be the same here but we are comforted by the joy she brought us and continues to bring us (and many others) in her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. A special thank you to Donna Constantine and Andy Bottum who showed Violet love and compassion throughout the years here at Hallam.

God Speed my sweet Vivi....until we meet again...

Tessie

Kristen & Peter Sigrist’s Tessie passed away on May 5th.
"Tessie, you were the best. We will love you forever."

Clover

"It was not the titles we earned it was the team we became. She may not have been owned by me, but she always believed she was. She spent a lot of time with her Aussie friends and I think she believed she was one of them.
Linda Butterworth and Clover & Linda's mom, Carole Bolan.

Sonar

Gone way too young! So sad. But, it's all sad.

Very sad day here at Sonbar. I had to put Sonar down, today. RIP, Sonar. He was such a good boy.
Finished his AKC Ch at 10 months, won two BB at specialties while working toward his GCH.
He got his RAE with never getting a non qualifying score. Got his CD in 3 tries.
His top score was a 195.5, his lowest was 191.5, which earned him a HIT at '11 nationals.
He managed to get his UKC Ch in 4 shows, ending with a BIS.
Also got his UKC CD and Rally novice with 3 tries.
He as my first and last agility dog, won several agility titles.

He was born into my hands and died with me cradling him.

RIP my good buddy. Sally Wuornos
