The new orange dog BASENJI LIFE In this series of serious (semi) articles, we will study in detail the profile of the typical dependent basenji, that is of that human species, nowadays in strong increase, subject to a serious form of dependence on the dog of basenji breed! Let's analyze the first symptom that characterizes the subject affected by basenji-dependence: the obsessive compulsive pursuit of any subject belonging to the race, who even enters only for an infinitesimal time frame in his visual field. In this comic, " The Orange Dog " gives us an excellent example of the first typical basenji-dependent trait: As the comic illustrates well, the subject suffering from basenji addiction does not stop at nothing to reach the dog - basenji, not dog! -visited: jumps off buses and trains, launches into a run-down race in rush-hour traffic, stops the car on the tram tracks or in the middle of a roundabout. He runs after the unsuspecting owners of the beloved dog, calling them out loud to be noticed, gesturing like a fool if they head in his direction, hoping that they let themselves be reached. A basenji-employee would stop at nothing: they would be ready to jump over a collapsed bridge or a ditch, to climb up steep cliffs, to sneak through the open windows of the fiftieth floor of a skyscraper! The basenji-dependency endows them with extraordinary powers, thanks to which these too human humans become supermen and, having overcome all the obstacles scattered along the way, they get their reward: reaching their darling, looking at him smiling and showing the owner, usually his once suffering from basenji-addiction, photos of their basenji! I admit it: I'm an anonymous basenji-dependent! And you? |
