I think the kids like being back at the Windmill Inn in Roseburg, Oregon because the first thing they did was leap from one bed to the other ... over and over.

We like the Windmill Inns of America, too, because there's never a fee or deposit for dogs!  Such a deal.

Hearty Breakfast
submitted by Dan Sailor

A hearty breakfast that can be altered as you’d like.

1 pack of organic Natures Path Hot Oatmeal, or any you can find. Pour boiling water over it to cook.

Sprinkle ground cinnamon on the oatmeal and mix in.

The below 2 items I get in the bulk section at Whole Foods Market and I get a pound at a time.

1 tbsp unhulled sesame seeds

2 tbsp flax seed

Grind them in a coffee grinder for about 6 seconds. Don’t pre-grind any of these as they go rancid quickly, so grind as you are going to eat them. Keep unused in glass jars in the frig.

2 tbsp of per cooked Quinoa. I cook it in a batch then store in frig. Quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) is an ancient healthy grain. It’s gluten free too.

Top with walnuts and sliced banana.

I use unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk with it, but you can use milk or soy milk.

PS - every morning Buddy gets about 4-5 finger scoops of the last bit of that breakfast. It's good for some hand feeding and good for the B.
