New Titles & Kudos & New Additions:

Jackie Dering's Harley got her Nose Work 1 title. Yes! At a real farm, so many distractions that NW1 doesn’t usually have. She should get the award for funniest. During the interior search which was in a living room she decided to rub herself all over the couch. I could have just stopped and kissed her. She got a Pronounced in Exteriors.

She also got her Coursing Abillity title. Kenset Sud-nly Mystic Harlequin JC CA TKN NW1.

The Grewes' AJ ~ Naadir Alibaba ti-n Abou Teka winner won the VDH title race male in Landstuhl "Deutsche Kurzstreckenmeister" on Mai11, 2019.
Race was on sand 290 meter, time was 27.08 seconds.

Susan Marsican's Goldie (Gold-Anne) was WB & BOBOH 2 days in a row a day past her 6th month birthday. Then, ahe won a major at the Hound Show. Apu La Donna e Mobile.

Karen Christensen's Tutu, at 11 1/2, won the NOTRA meet on 22 June & got a 2nd the next day. FC Apu Pi De Deux SC CA FCh SGRC4 SORC4.

The Culver's Jasper was Winners' Dog at his very first show. Pickwick's Apu Keep on Dancing. Ivy showed very well, and got 2nd of 3 - Pickwick's Apu Miss Kitty's Can-Can Girl. Photo is Jasper going home on the Orient Point Ferry.

Susan Marsicano's Leaf got his first point, at just over 6 months old. Apu Painted Cat Burglar.

Brenda Phillip - Well we came for conformation with her brothers, but Zippie said she wanted to do SOMETHING while she was here, so we did Novice Rally and got a placement hedgehog! (And a fun picture)

Zippie earned top honors at the 2019 NW Versatility weekend, Best Basenji of more than 10 entered in Straight Racing, Oval Track, and Lure Coursing.
I'm so very VERY proud of her! We have stiff competition...wowie zowie... what an honor!

Andrea Stone's Gage, CH Saorsa FoPaw's Warp Factor Won TKN -is a new BBE champ "Love this boy! While still growing up, he just oozes breed type with nice, easy movement. Thank you, Lisa Warran, for finding him worthy and giving him those last couple of points. At about 17mo old, we have a lot more fun ahead!"

Sue and Bob Schulz's Teagan had a great time at her first official AKC dog show, showing at the Kenilworth Kennel Club of Connecticut show. Sue's first ever dog to show in the Bred By Exhibitor class, Teagan went Best of Winners and earned her first point under Judge Joy Brewster. (Pickwick's Apu Poetry In Motion)

Susan Marsicano's Gilda won the NOTRA meet on 23 June. FC Apu Painter Song SC RN CAA TKN GRC ORC JOR VBS2. Bonacarti photo.

The Stewart's Bolt earned his LCX4 and will now qualify for the Versatile Basenji Elite title, which is the highest level of versatility for Basenji. Next year we hope to focus on rally trials and perhaps go back to the show ring as he is only 3 years old.

Andrea Stone's Phaser - Saorsa FoPaw's Set to Stun — It's been a fun couple of show weekends with Phaser here at Saorsa. This is Baby Pha with all of her loot. Three Winners Bitch wins, including 2 Best of Winners, a Best Owner-handled, a Best Bred-by Exhibitor and Group 3 placements in NOHS and BBE Groups.

She is a challenge to show, but clearly has some wonderful moments where judges can appreciate what she has to offer. I predict a lot more fun ahead of us..

Paul Mount' & Zuri keep on keeping on. #1 agility baseni.

Kim McNeill's Miss Zest! was tired of staying at home, so she decided to go to the UKC show with me and Spy-C. No love for the chickie this weekend, but LOTS of love for Miss Zest!. At the Age Matters for old dogs, Saturday, in the drizzling rain AND cold, she got a nice rosette for honorable mention. Sunday she got a HUGE, larger than a basenji, rosette for Best in Show Vet. Judges were very complimentary and could not believe she was 12. I am so very thrilled with this as 8 weeks ago we were contemplating major neck surgery.

Karla Schreiber's Zevon got RWD at his first real show - "outdoors, in the blazing heat! I was very happy with his table and floor stacks. Go rounds need work, as "turn when I turn" isn't a concept he gets at the moment. Lol! On the down and back - me going too fast yet again. We have stuff to work on, but he's a happy camper in the ring and outside it, and got a nice compliment from the judge along with his ribbons. Congrats to all the winners! The heat challenged all of us today. Here's a pic of Z chilling (euphemistically) in the yard!"
