2 Synchronized Frozen Semen Litters

First all testing done.  Girlies CHIC, Moyo A1 hips, thyroid, eyes, fanconi Clear.  Guy Noir all testing done.

 

1. Busy girlies, unbred, approaching 4 yrs old, enjoying brilliant careers.  Time to take time out to make babies.

 

2. Dr. Gary Johnson finds the gene for fanconi with sequencing, & allows for retest of family to change options.

 

3. Frozen semen collection & shipping to CT. Ag Dept, AKC advice on requirements for importing frozen semen from Netherlands. Date rec’d 10 days before used. Guy Noir stored since 2007; semen shipped to CT beginning Oct.

 

4. Girlies 9 total progesterone tests.  Cytogology identical right before surge.  CBCs done.

 

5. Implants done same day, one right after another, between 1 pm & 3 pm.

 

6.  Confirmed pregnant by palpating at 21 days.

 

7.  Both litters born the same day, in order of implant.

Scarlet, 3 r/w girls, 2 r/w boys.

Scarlet's first born, walking around minutes after birth.

Fern, 1 brindle boy, 1 brindle girl, 1 red/white boy.

Fernie's first girl, one week old
