Club News
We've done 20+ years of RVW fundraisers . . .
& in 2021 we raised $900 for the Basenji Health Endowment!
Here's some of the board of the RVW club, getting ready to draw the raffle. We were at a race meet in Ringoes, NJ, 19 June. We raised $900, which is outstanding.

Jackie Dering (ticket said, "Luke") won the coat Kristine made.
Tamara Allen (ticket said, "Ms T") won the Cuddler tag Andrea donated.
Chris Maxka won the Pure Magic tag Andrea also made.
Tamara gifted the tag she won to her sister's dog, Ellie. "Ellie thanks Andrea Stone for the beautiful tag! My sister literally rescued her with chemical burns from a drug house years ago and Ellie has cuddled her way into many a hearts. Perfect tag for Ellie, and they both send their thanks to RVW club and Andrea for her generous donation."

The Rip Van Wrinkle Basenji club was founded in Woodstock, NY, in 1997.
It's name is a pun on local lure + basenji wrinkles. Rip Van Winkle + basenji wrinkles = Rip Van Wrinkle. The Newsletter was named the Wrinkler.
Note that none of us can easily call local places, like the Rip Van Winkle bridge, "Winkle," & we end up saying "Wrinkle."
