The Rip Van Wrinkler, Volume XX, Issue 2, May 2016 | ||||||
Our club made a donation in support of our long time friend, Stacy Pober. There was a fire and she lost her home, her husband and 2 of her dogs (Greyhounds); was left with one dog and the clothes on her back. Facebook pageArticle in the Poughkeepsie JournalHere's a message from Stacy. "Right now, her greatest need is to find a place to rent while her house is rebuilt (most likely for about 6 months). She needs to find a house that will take two dogs, and either has a fenced yard, or a yard that can be fenced, within about 30 miles of Pawling, NY, or in the Danbury CT area. Stacy expressed her immense gratitude to her friends and others who have reached out to help, and who have kept her in their thoughts and prayers. She has not been able (emotionally) to read her email, but is now beginning to try to reconnect and move to some more normalcy in her life. Her regular phone number is now up and working, so anyone who has that please give her a call to chat."Brunch ReportRip Van Wrinkle Basenji Club18th Annual Meeting and Beat the Winter Doldrums Brunch Chez Apu - Woodstock, New York February 7th, 2016
