Another great Wrinkler, Susan, thank you.  Nicky was delighted to be featured and she much prefers fame in the Wrinkler to dogshaming.com! .....................................................................ANNE MACMILLAN

That’s the first time I’ve seen a ‘Wrinkler’ – super magazine. Lots to educate and interest.

I enjoyed it very much indeed. spw……............……..SALLY WALLIS

Reminder of the Season.

While on the trip home we stopped for gas on I-75 forty miles south of Atlanta. While filling the DOGBED I was approached by a flustered young man. He had seen my Missouri license plate and hoped I knew something about the area. He was enroute to a construction project in Macon but had Car trouble. He had no credit cards and the local AAA office would not take an out of state check.

Wanted to know if I knew where a nursery might be as he had two "disgruntled kids" in the car or if I could use a drill, or some tool for a "few bucks". He lacked $36 but he had the rest.

I took a couple of minutes to search Garmin and then common sense struck me. I reached in my pocket and gave him two twentys. He wanted my address or card so he could get it back to me. I said Merry Christmas and take care of the kids.

Lisa commented that panhandling was going on. I described the incident and had a tinge of doubt. Then a bad thing allowed restored faith. Trying to exit the station we got diverted into a lane that led into a Tanger Outlet (this sucked big time) by the time we got turned around, we passed the young man carrying the youngest daughter in one arm and the other was toddling by his side, on the way to a motel near the AAA office. A tow truck was connecting to his heavily laden truck.

My tinge went away……………….............................…….….JOE STEWART

"Now I'm ready for my long walks again... What were you thinking bringing me to Colorado?!" Cellini actually does great in his boots; was running and everything! They're awesome. .................................JEANNE FITZSIMMONS

I’ve attached one (photo) of Ivan with his skunk (from the RVW Santa Paws Gift Exchange), which is now in two pieces, both of which are still shaken triumphantly and carried jubilantly as he runs circles through the house.

The photo of Ivan in his booties is from New Year’s morning when we were preparing to take Ivan out. He’s very good about wearing his Muttluks when we’re outside, but he’s still not thrilled when we wriggle his feet into the booties. There’s a certain sequence that’s necessary for success: The coat and leash must be attached and we must be absolutely ready to sweep out the door as soon as the last bootie is fastened. Amidst much praise, first the back booties are applied, then the front booties, and then out the door before he has time to register a formal protest.

Once outside, he trots along beautifully, but as soon as we are back inside, the booties must be removed. First the front booties, then the back booties, again with profusive praise, followed by treats. Then I can remove all other layers and recover until we need to repeat the process.
