A new book by Dr. Dodds:

at Dogwise
"Learn how to transform your dog’s cellular health with the power of nutrigenomics in this ground-breaking new book. Nutrigenomics (a combination of the words nutrition and genome) is the study of how the foods we and our pets eat “speak” to our cells to regulate gene expression, which in turn plays a huge role in determining whether a person or animal will live a life of vibrant health, or one plagued by illness.
Your dog’s diet “speaks” to his cells!
Nutrigenomics is the new science of how diet affects gene expression at the cellular level, creating vibrant health or chronic disease. Optimum health begins in the cells—and this book shows you how to achieve it for your dog!"

Never give up. Very nice found dog story. HERE

GUERNSEY COUNTY (Adam Slinger) –- Just about everyone had given up hope. Some search crews called it quits. Even the dog’s owners had to go back home to Washington, D.C. after days of searching for their beloved pet.

The dog and her owners were involved in a serious wreck. The husband and wife were rushed to the hospital and witnesses reported seeing Sasha, their 8-year-old greyhound, run into a wooded area off I-70 in Guernsey County.

That was January 4th.

For more than two weeks, two women, who volunteered their time, searched for any sign of the animal. Thais Anderson and Sheryl Brunhaus refused to give-up.

“I can’t imagine losing your dog and never knowing what happened to it,” Anderson told ABC6/FOX28.

Those first few days saw subzero temperatures, according to the women, who tried to track paw-prints in the snow.

“As each day went by, chances get slimmer and slimmer of finding her alive,” said Brunhaus.

On Day 15, the women went to the wrecked car at the tow yard and brought back some blankets from inside the vehicle, hoping the scent would attract Sasha.

“We started waving it around in the air [by two barns], and our plan was to leave one by each,” said Brunhaus.

Anderson decided to roam the property one more time before the sun went down on Monday night, and that’s when she saw something near a covered-shed. “I thought, ‘That’s a baby deer laying on the ground,’” said Anderson. “Then, I looked back and I’m like, ‘It’s Sasha!’”

The dog was malnourished and had lost 15 pounds, but was, at least, alive. Sasha, still wearing her leash, was stuck to a tree.

“Somebody said we are her two guardian angels,” said Brunhaus.

On Tuesday, the women and Anderson’s husband, Jerry, drove Sasha to Washington, D.C. to reunite the pet with her family.

“Somebody’s going to find her,” said Anderson. “I never imagined it would be us.”
