Hi Susan!

I have, probably 10 or so, Laurelwood Basenji plates that I would love the club to have. Use them for trophies, raffle items, gifts, or whatever. I unhappily didn't have a plate rail in NC to display them on, and there is not room in this house for them. They are nicely done B images and I did enjoy looking at them but they need a home! The catch is someone would need come and get them. They are carefully wrapped or in their original boxes. There is a blue Danish plate too.

I enjoy the Wrinkler very very much; thank you for sending it on!

Ed. Thanks Kathe! Sue Schulz went and picked the plates up, and volunteered herself as “the adopter”. She will make a donation to our club, and give the Laurelwood plates a good home.

In the new Wrinkler, Susan posted some past  ‘covers’ and one was from 12 years ago, taken by Don.  We were on our first real vacation in years, to Cape San Blas (FL) with Topper, Nicky and our then new addition, Eddie.

Over a mile of empty beach so the dogs were usually off leash, one foggy morning we found this peace sign of shells in the sand. Nicky and Eddie circled it (no one peed on it!) and Don got this cool photo.

Basenjis say, "make love and cuddles, not war”………………....ANNE MACMILLAN

Lotte Hotaling - I remember when that issue came out; I wasn't aware that the peace sign was already there, a lucky find and a great photo. One of my favorites!

Lisa Marshall - I love that make love and cuddles not war cover too.

Oh my!!! Thank you thank you. I love the Wrinkler at all times, but especially so if Miranda makes it into an issue :-)

All my basenjis are my heart dogs in their own special way, but Miranda has her own corner :-)

Dearest Susan,

It is only now that my heart has allowed me to read the November issue of The Wrinkler.  Nemo has been gone just two months, and although the pain is still very raw - made even more so by the loss of our sweet girl, Lily - I felt I owed it to you to at least see the "In Memoriam" section you kindly invited me to contribute to.  It was, as always, difficult to see how many lovely basenjis our friends have lost over the past month, and my deepest condolences go out to every grieving parent.

Many thanks to you for providing a venue to express our loss and memories of the ones who've crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and know that the contributors on those pages - as well as those who read them - fully appreciate the love and dedication we have for our furkids.

For the photos you included of Nemo, and the kind words you wrote on his FB album ... Grazie di cuore…......................................................……RHODA BYRNE
